Our plan this morning was to find a cafe close by to have a quick breakfast before heading off to see a palace. (Normal everyday stuff, right?) Would you believe, all the coffee shops in the area were CLOSED until later—too much partying going on in the evenings, I’d say!
As we walked back by the Naschmarkt, we grabbed a table and proceeded to devour the best breakfast and coffee of the trip! Who knew?

And then we were serenaded on the train ride to the Palace! (Our morning was made!)
We made a quick decision that we didn’t really need to see all 1,400 rooms (😳), but were excited to see this—a Strudel Show! And it was just ready to begin!
We couldn’t believe our luck! The chef spoke in English then German then back to English without skipping a best! He was a true entertainer! It was an AMAZING show, and we each got a piece of strudel to try! YUM!
After the show, we were greeted by Mozart himself! What a delight!
John wanted yet another Hard Rock T-shirt, so we decided to just have lunch there. And were we glad we did!
Mozart’s House was close by, so we ventured out to see it. I wanted to see if I had any recollection of it after seeing it back in the 80’s. (Nope, no recollection AT ALL!)
We went to the train station next to see if we could figure out how to get to Prague in the morning! Of course, Matt and John, (with a bit of studying and negotiating) came out with tickets and a smile on their faces!
A gorgeous structure, known for its’ beautiful gardens, and breathtaking views, did not disappoint!
Matt, Val and John diligently Googled how to get to Salm Brau, a close by restaurant that had been recommended to us. (Thank you, Deborah Murray, we loved it!)

Another great day was had by all! But it was another relatively early night, cuz these travelers were worn out! Tomorrow we are Prague, Czech Republic bound!
