Oh what a beautiful Bari morning! We LOVED walking next to the Adriatic Sea toward Old Town!
There were enough different varieties of seafood there to make a really great seafood tower! (Patte, you would have LOVED IT!)
We continued walking until we reached Old Town, which was less than a mile from our Airbnb
We never knew what we would see walking through the narrow pathways that make up Old Town! It was, to say the least, an AMAZING stroll!
The pasta making Nonnas were fascinating to watch! We wanted so badly to purchase some of their pasta, however, decided that with our Airbnb’s two-and-a-half foot wide kitchen, (I kid you not!), cooking was not a good idea! So sorry, pasta making Nonnas!!!
We did put our feet in the sand, but that’s as far as we got! That Adriatic Sea water is way too cold for these Floridians!
After we had savored every single inch of Old Town, John and I meandered through downtown Bari to the Bus/Train Station. We wanted to figure out how we were getting Alberobello tomorrow (to see the Trulli!). We THINK we were successful! Time will tell!
Lunch, as always, was soooo delicious!
Later in the afternoon we walked to one of the Bari beaches. It was beautiful, and clearly, many locals and tourists were enjoying it, however, it did NOT compare to our beloved beaches on Anna Maria Island! (That review is for you, Frank and Castilia!)
