KRAKOW, POLAND!

John and I met Matt and Val for our final European breakfast together!  (Yes, beans!😳)

The two of them were heading to London later in the day and we are heading to Krakow, Poland!  Would you believe, I totally spaced getting a final picture of the four of us?  So here is one from earlier in the trip—man, did we have FUN traveling together!  Good times with many, many laughs shared!  (We miss you already, Matt and Val!)

John and I caught the early train to our NINTH STOP of this trip, Krakow, Poland!

Our first class (woohoo!) seats were comfy for the seven hour train trip!  (Freshly showered people only!)

This was pretty much the view all day long!

This is what the first class lounge looked like!

Our gourmet lunch was served enroute and, it actually was quite tasty!  (The BIG beer wasn’t bad either!)

Seven hours later we arrived in Krakow!  The train station was attached to a really nice shopping mall—too bad my suitcase and backpack were filled to the brim!  No room for shopping!

After checking in, we went to the restaurant our hotel recommended with authentic Polish food.  It was delicious and the outside garden area was beautiful.  (We missed you, Matt and Val!)

Once dinner was over we couldn’t wait to walk around Old Town.  It was magical!  Youngsters were raising money in support of the Ukraine.

The buildings were beautiful and the square was filled with people enjoying their Saturday night in Krakow!  Music of all sorts was being played from every nook and cranny.

John made his usual stop at Hard Rock to pick up yet another Tshirt!  (How did he have room in his suitcase, pray tell?)

What a surprise this city was for us!  What a true delight!  Tomorrow’s going to be a tough day, as we are going on a seven hour tour of Auschwitz.  That should prove to be very interesting.  Until then….good night!

And HAPPY FATHER’S DAY to all the great Dad’s out there!!!
