Today was a BIG day for Timmy—he was going to drive all of us (ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE ROAD) down the coast to Tralee, Ireland.
We picked up our car and Tim tried his hardest to convince the salesman to become our official driver! It was a big NO GO, so Tim got behind wheel and we were off! First stop: Cliffs of Mohr.
The views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean were spectacular! There were bus loads of people milling around with a busker stationed here and there entertaining us all. My videos aren’t loading (thanks, Blogger🙄), so sit back and pretend to listen to some pleasant Irish folk music!
Our next stop of the day was Doonbeg, home of Trump International Golf Links & Hotel! What can I say, it was beautiful!
We got to ride the Shannon Ferry, the only vehicle ferry trip on the main spine of the Wild Atlantic Way. It is “a memorable 20 minute journey across the estuary linking the iconic tourist destinations of the Banner County of Clare to the Kingdom of Kerry.”

Just BEAUTIFUL! Yay to Tim for driving!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!! Tim did great—thank goodness!!!
ReplyDeleteI’m so envious-the Cliffs of Mohr area is just gorgeous. I have a refrigerator magnet from there when Debbie and Don went. 😆
