BACK TO EDINBURGH, SCOTLAND!

 Our Airbnb in St. Andrews was adorable and the location was spot on!  (Way to go Dieds!)  But it was another  “on the road again!” kind of day!

We spent some time walking around the downtown area of St. Andrews—three amazing streets of shops, cafes and lots and lots of chimneys!

Shopping is so much easier when you have absolutely no room in your luggage!  We got to store our luggage, BTW,  at The Saint (where we had lunch when we arrived) with only the promise that we’d be back again for lunch!

We enjoyed our last St. Andrews’ meal,

and were off to the train station to head back to Edinburgh!

At first we were in a state of confusion when we read this on a closet door.

But when we saw this on another door, we had to chuckle!  Those Scottish people sure have a sense of humor!

My day was made when Susan pointed out a grate that was at the train station…DIDIDIDIDIDI, it read!  It won’t be long until I hear August, in person, say “DiDi!” and I (we) cannot wait!
