BACK TO DUBLIN WE GO!

We bid farewell to kilts, bagpipes and haggis and began the journey back to Dublin!

We Ubered it to Malahide, a delightful coastal village in Ireland, where we spent the afternoon.

We walked along the water and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day.  It was still quite breezy, but the locals were on the beaches in bathing suits! 😳

Back at the hotel we had our final meal with Tim and Susan.  They are off tomorrow to head back to South Carolina, while John and I venture off to Rome!

We toasted how fortunate we were to be able to travel through Ireland and Scotland together!  We toasted, once again, Tim and Susan’s 40th wedding anniversary!  We toasted all the amazing sights we had the opportunity of seeing on this trip!  We toasted our families!  We toasted safe travels tomorrow!  And when we couldn’t toast one more time, we bid our good byes and headed to bed!  

Meanwhile, Jonathan enjoyed Nice and Monaco!  He made it to the Casino de Mont-Carlo (where he won at roulette!) and then to qualifications at the Circuit de Monaco Formula One!

And Jason, Chloe and August finished the first leg of their trip!  So far so good!

We all meet up tomorrow and get to spend a week together in Rome!  Safe travels to all!
