This beautiful structure is the Notre Dame Cathedral of Strasbourg. John and I stood in line to take a look inside, while Yvonne stood in line to walk up 333 steps to the top of the Cathedral. (Girlfriend is cray cray! 😳)
The inside was beautiful, however,
the photos Yvonne got overlooking the city were stunning!
The next tour of the day was to a small (adorable) village called Obernai. Was it ever charming!
John, Yvonne and I strolled through the town, while Gary enjoyed a few cold ones!
We left Obernai and drove by motor coach to the Xavier Muller winery, for a wine tasting!
Notice the stork nest on the top of the tree? Apparently August is when the storks migrate to Africa and return in March.
The wine tour was wonderful. Our tour guide translated for the French owner. (And did an amazing job!)
It was a great day and we headed back to the ship for a German feast. YUM!
After we were stuffed to the gills with everything German, we headed to the lounge and proceeded to win a game of Family Feud! Our family name was “Diedsend”! Ahhhh, a great way (we won FOUR BOTTLES of wine!) to end an awesome day!
Tomorrow’s port is: SPEYER, GERMANY!

Fun! Plm
